What assessments mean
Bad Cookie presents browser-reported information, observed events and correlated indicators. Review priorities and category labels are informational assessments, not calibrated probabilities or proof of harm.
Bad Cookie cannot establish that a website sold information, changed a price for you, stole credentials, recorded a session, linked your identity or performed other server-side activity. A camera, microphone or location permission does not establish actual use. A returned cookie does not establish its purpose or recreation mechanism.
Coverage depends on Chrome, permissions, accessible browser contexts and the information available at the time. An empty result does not guarantee that a website is safe or that no tracking exists. Bad Cookie does not replace other browser security measures or independent investigation.

Removal is limited to supported browser data and the confirmed scope. It does not erase copies held by websites, other profiles or external services, and websites may recreate data. Some operations may be partial or impossible to fully verify.

Our Privacy Policy explains the information Bad Cookie accesses, how it is used and your choices. It also distinguishes local extension processing from information you send through our website or support channels.
Availability and changes
Features and compatibility may change as Chrome, websites and Bad Cookie evolve. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every website or detection of every privacy risk. We will provide notice of material service or terms changes where required by law.
Intellectual property
Bad Cookie's software, branding and original content belong to their respective owners. You receive permission to use the extension for its intended purpose; no ownership is transferred. Third-party components remain subject to their applicable licences, including notices supplied with the extension. Nothing here restricts rights those licences or applicable law grant you.
Your legal rights

Stopping use and contacting us
